Product Introduction
The grape destemmer is specialized equipment designed to remove stems from grapes while protecting the integrity of grape grains. Grape stems account for 3-8% of grape weight and are mainly composed of lignin with 1-2.5% tannin, 0.5-1.5% acid and bitter compounds. If not removed, stems will contaminate the juice quality with bitter and astringent flavors.
The machine adopts an eccentric and adjustable destem blade design. The rotating speed can be adjusted to adapt to different grape sizes and varieties. The crushing roller is made of non-toxic, high-elastic rubber material that effectively removes stems without damaging the grape grains. The pore size of the drum sieve can be customized according to grape size for optimal destemming performance.
After destemming, a single-screw pump transmits the grapes to the next processing stage (crushing). The sieve is made of nylon material resistant to acid, alkali and corrosion. For production capacity larger than 5 tons/hour, the machine is equipped with a wheeled separator for improved efficiency.
